Three indoor courts are available at the YMCA during the winter months. Please call the YMCA (218.327.1161) for the pickleball schedule. Three indoor courts are also available at the Grand Rapids Armory. The schedule will be posted on our website when available.

2. What does “Open Play” mean?
Open play is defined in our association as a block of time reserved for association members of all skill levels to play pickleball. Pickleball courts are organized by skill level to ensure quality of play for all.

3. How do I determine my skill level?
Players are typically categorized at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Our 10 outdoor courts at the YMCA are labeled by skill level so that players can easily find a comfortable and competitive level of play. Skill guidelines are posted at each court to help players realistically determine their level of play and move to the appropriate court. Two challenge courts are available so that players can test their skills at higher levels.
